About Holli

Holli Clepper, founder of In Health and Happiness, has been a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and educator in the fitness industry for over 25 years.

My Story

I grew up on the beaches of Hawaii, and like many young women, I struggled mightily with my body image. On top of that, my digestion was inconsistent, to say the least. In college, my gut hurt all the time. I dealt with it by popping Tums like candy and hoping for the best. 

While working for the American Council on Exercise, I learned to safely perform exercises (yet they were not specific to individual bodies and metabolisms). And I learned almost nothing about nutrition, except the food guide pyramid (which the government got completely wrong!). 

Alas I met Paul Chek. The crazy man with his Swiss Ball video….and that crazy man not only changed my life, he also taught me to question everything being taught by mainstream fitness organizations. 

He taught me how to eat right for me, and exercise the way I needed to for my body. Through my training with Paul and many other teachers, I’ve helped many people heal their guts and recover from injury.

I myself have worked through a lot of gut issues and injuries.  I eat clean now after the “pain doctor” nudged me quite hard, over and over again. I also survived a C-section in my 40’s and  worked hard to bounce back from that. 

After working several years promoting prenatal and postpartum fitness, I realized that it was time for me to take everything I’ve learned and help women on a larger scale…and from that In Health and Happiness was born!

In Health and Happiness was how I always signed my emails when working for the American Council on Exercise and The C.H.E.K Institute, and I realized it is exactly what I hope for you and everyone I come into contact with.
